Tandem-paragliding

For this activity, you will be picked from your accommodation and driven by road to Sarangkot, a small cluster of lodges on the hill where the launch ramp is located. We recommend the 30-minute flight, which we consider sufficient, and you can opt for photographs or forgo them. From the landing point, which is in one of the lakeside meadows north of Lakeside, you are returned to your accommodation.

Many of the pilots are westerners who are seasonal pilots in Pokhara, although there is an increasing number of Nepalese pilots with qualifications and a lot of experience. This activity is of course subject to weather conditions and is not permitted for children under 8 years of age. It is advisable to wear footwear that supports the ankle and a jacket or windbreaker.

Prices are usually set by the association of paragliding companies and they give a small commission to agencies like us, so you get the same price if you arrange it through us as if you hire it directly from one of the companies that do paragliding at Lakeside, which you will distinguish because they have all the material in the shop.
